about Justin Walsh

Justin Walsh has lived in the area all of his life. He attended Saint Francis College and obtained his Law Degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Justin has been practicing law for over 18 years with the last 10 being the owner of or partner in a small General Practice firm addressing the legal needs of individuals in our district and the immediate surrounding communities.

Justin has been married to his wife Jennifer for over 16 years and they have three children; Nicholas, age 10, Payton, age 7 and Lily, age 6. Justin is heavily involved in coaching youth sports.

Why I am running

I decided to seek this office because I am so vested in my district. I have a large family, with 5 brothers and 11 nieces and nephews, who also reside in my district or the immediate surrounding area. I want my children and my nieces and nephews to not only grow up here but want to have the opportunity to remain here.

CREATING JOBS

As a small business owner I know first hand the issues we need to take on to attract new businesses to the district and to keep and help grow the businesses we already have here. We can achieve this by helping small businesses by giving tax breaks when new employee's are hired, provide skilled training programs in the markets that are expanding in our region. I promise to meet with all our business owners throughout the district to see what government red tape could be eliminated to help make our business community thrive.

tackle DRUG PROBLEM

As a father and as a result of my profession, I am deeply concerned about the drug problem in the district. It needs to be addressed through both law enforcement and education/treatment. My unique perspective will help me work with law enforcement to better understand the problems we are facing in our community and actively work to take on the epidemic that is occurring in our area.

TERM LIMIT PLEDGE

I am not looking to make this a lifelong appointment. I plan on limiting my time in office to do everything I can to make my district a better place to live and raise a family. I will not simply hang around and become complacent. We need energy and drive to take on our problems. I will represent our community with the urgency we need.

WON'T TAKE TAXPAYER FUNDED PENSION

I'm running to be an independent voice in Harrisburg. Our government is in gridlock, disarray and is broken. I'm going to work to reform Harrisburg and set the tone by refusing the taxpayer funded pension system and working urgently to tackle the pension crisis that is going to affect every home in Pennsylvania.

FIGHT TAX INCREASES

I promise to fight against the tax increases that seem to be every politicians' answer to our problems. We need to reduce government, reform the way it operates and always work to make sure our community is prioritized over politics.
